When #propagating #houseplants I went from #waterrooting right to the soil but the roots always struggled. So I started using #perlite B4 going to soil. It helped but roots didn’t really thrive. Now I use #sphagnummoss instead of perlite & the tender roots harden, grow, & do better once in the soil.
