The institution has gutted our Inclusive Excellence Office, Black faculty are still burdened with a Black Tax, and so called allies gave shown their true colors. At the dept level we decided to continue in DEI thru monthly sessions. My colleague’s topic? Dungeons and Dragons…🫩🤷🏾‍♂️😩😒

I just started reading Keeper’s of the Lost Cities and it’s a chunky book and I am practicing this annotation system that is also a reading comprehension system and it’s making me a better critical reader, thinker & writer. Just writing this post is making me slow down& process my words. #WeAllWeGot

Your posts also help me express my thoughts as well as it helps me practice my writing skills. Maybe once a week w can post a 1-2 word post with a topic like a word of the day thing. Where ppl have to search it and actually think & process their thoughts. #WeAllWeGot
