There are still a few more days of work ahead, but it’s already looking fantastic.

We can’t wait to see it finished.

Something exciting is happening this week…

The new lift bridge between Tamworth Road and Longbridge Road is being installed!

Watch this space for more updates! 😃

Hard work at Fosseway yesterday from our Green Team and DofE volunteers.

They were busy burning more piles of gorse and clearing brambles from under the boardwalk. (We only burn when necessary - gorse doesn’t compost easily.)

Thank you all for your hard work and energy.

Fantastic effort from our Green & Grounds team yesterday at Borrowcop.

5 adults and 14 DofE volunteers = a huge impact:

• Canal debris removed

Give them a task and they get stuck in!

At Gallows Wharf, it took five valiant volunteers, four ratchet straps, and a fair bit of pipe fitter’s ingenuity to fit a 450mm pipe into a 28" concrete pipe at the interception point.

A brilliant bit of teamwork - well done all!
Now we just need to fix it in place.

Clear plastic charity donation boxes inside a Waitrose store, filled with green tokens, with shopping trolleys visible in the background.

There's still time to grab your green tokens at Lichfield Waitrose! 💚

If you’re shopping, we’d love your support - just pop your token in our box. We’re one of three fantastic charities to choose from.

A three‑image collage showing construction site welfare facilities. The top image shows five construction volunteers in high‑visibility jackets and helmets standing in mud with excavation machinery behind them.
The bottom‑left image shows the old welfare setup: a small white cabin beside a green portable toilet marked “TOILET HIRE,” with a mini‑digger behind temporary fencing.
The bottom‑right image shows a modern eco‑welfare unit on hire for trial, branded “euraloo” and “eco welfare,” with solar panels on the roof and enclosed by temporary fencing
