A coloured sketch of one of my birdlike dragons facing left with its mouth slightly agape. It’s themed after a pale headed rosella and its colours transition from white to yellow to green and then blue with black markings on the face and shoulders. There is a detailed close up of an eye and a little doodle of Niallan at the bottom. The eye notes explain how their brown eyes flash bright orange in sunlight and that the Niallan doodle is not to scale unless I decide it is. The annotations read: Aerie Queen* Leads the hidden glaivetail colonies who live in the deep jungle forests after The Hidden Confluence. *Because glaivetails are functionally hermaphroditic they have no gendered language so the term for aerie leader only connects to queen due to the oldest egg laying member being chosen.

The annotations read: Average Queen Size As queens grow in size they become front heavy as their flight muscles bulk up. Plume (should be pennants), crest and beard shape is NOT indicative of queen status or potential. Queens attain their size due to hormonal changes once they are chosen to lead the aerie. Sometimes a queen will also emerge unelected at which point they co rule unless the aerie has a different rule on it. Average adult.

Did these today before sads ate me again so have some more glaivetail lore I just made up because I thought it was good.
