Unfortunately Fed Employees often get blamed for the laws our elected reps create, which they must then legally enforce,
while also being significantly underfunded & understaffed, due to political maneuvering by those same reps & designed to cause failure & privatization of the agency.

I read today they've started cuts at the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

Personally, I deeply appreciate having food & medications inspected to ensure they're safe & won't kill me.

The FDA needs to be expanded, not cut.
