A spiral bound sketchbook sits at an angle It on a round beige marble laminate table top that has gold trim. Next to the sketchbook is a crumpled pink napkin that says "you can never have too much gelato" and on top of that is my Pilot Parallel Pen with its cap off. The teal coloured cap is resting on top of the sketchbook. The calligraphy on the page is in dark yellow ink and says "Eating ice cream @ Anita's". The letters are experimental. For example, the first capital E is rounded and looping and has beaded ends. The i's are like crinkle cut fries. The spacing and uniformity of the font is terrible. To compensate for a big gap in the top right hand corner, I have drawn a picture of two scoops of ice cream in a cup. The cup has Anita's logo or at least a passing representation of it and a round crosshatched wafer is poked into the ice cream. The lower ice cream has speckles while the top ice cream has ripples.

It's really hot outside. I was going to eat and draw at the same time but it was melting so fast that I had to concentrate on that and do my art later. #myart #fountainpen #anitas #yellowink #whatpenmanship
