A comic of Claire Elford and Noel Levine from Witch's Heart. It's a monochrome gray-blue and sketched. The first panel is of the stars through the window in Noel's room. In the second panel, Claire is in profile, with her eyes closed and a thoughtful expression on her face. She's in her tank top outfit. Noel stands beside her, looking over curiously and fidgeting with his hands. Dialogue reads: Claire: Hmm... Noel: Claire? What is it? In the third panel, the shot is zoomed to Claire alone, head on. She looks slightly upwards, her eyes reflecting the stars. Dialogue reads: Claire: You know, it's strange. in the fourth panel, Noel is alone in the middle. He tilts his head to the side and looks curious. Dialogue reads: Noel: ... What is? Claire: Well... Fifth panel: Claire has her hands clasped together and is blushing slightly, looking to the side with a nervous smile. Dialogue: Claire: We only just met... Sixth panel: Claire beams, eyes shut. There are sparkle effects in the background. Dialogue: Claire: But it feels like I've known you for my whole life! The dialogue overlaps the seventh panel, in which Noel stands with a wide-eyed, bewildered expression. He's blushing.
Second page continuation of the comic. In panel one, Noel stands in profile on the left and laughs with a hand on the back of his neck. His expression is embarrassed and he's still blushing. Claire stands to his right, a pleased, cute smile on her face. More sparkles decorate the background around her. Dialogue: Noel: Haha... Panel 2: Claire's head is skewed slightly as if considering something. She's smiling nervously and her eyebrows are creased. Dialogue: Claire: ... Claire: Is it strange to say... Panel 3: A closeup on Claire's face in profile, cutting off above her mouth. She looks downwards. She's blushing, and her eyes look as though she's smiling. The panel background is dark. Dialogue reaches over into panel 4 and reads: I don't know how I've ever been without you, Panel 4: Claire turns her head back in Noel's direction with a beaming smile on her face. Her hair is fluttering mid-movement and her eyes are shining. The panel borders are dark, but the background lightens up around her as though she's glowing. A few sparkle effects are behind her. Dialogue, continued, reads: Claire: but I just can't imagine not being by your side now! Panel 5: Noel is alone to the left side of the panel, his expression wide-eyed as though startled. The right side of the panel fades to a darker shade, and the background has a debris effect floating through it. Dialogue: Claire: Like it was... meant to be, or something! Claire: A-at least, that's what I think. Noel: ... Panel 6: A closer shot of Noel, alone. He has a weak smile on his face, but is looking away. Left to right, the background gradients from midtone to dark. The debris effect persists in white. The dialogue (bearing no tail/pointer and simply floating on the panel) reads: Noel: ... Noel: Ah.
Third page continuation of the comic. In panel one, Noel stands with the upper half of his face cut off and in shadow. He smiles, but his lips are skewed and pressed thin. The background is dark and bears a faint impression of the fleshy monster, drawn in radial symmetry like a kaleidoscope. Dialogue (in a shaky text bubble without a tail) reads: Noel: Yeah. Panel 2: a closeup of the lower half of Noel's face in profile. His smile is wider but his lower lip is trembling. Tears trace his cheek and hang suspended off of his jaw. Dialogue (in a shaky bubble without a tail) reads: Noel: ... me either. Panel 3: A closeup of the left half of claire's face, the other half cut off by the panel border. Her eyes are wide and her expression is startled. Panel 4: Claire reaches towards Noel, her hands hovering anxiously near him. Her face is shocked and worried. Noel is turned away, holding one hand up to wave her off and using the other to cover the exposed side of his face, hiding his expression. Noel's text, speech bubbles, and their tails are all wobbly, and Claire's are emphasized for volume. Dialogue reads: Claire: A- Claire: Are you crying?! Noel: Sorry. Noel: sorry. Noel: That's just–... Noel: ... Noel: ...a- ... a very kind thing for you to say. The fifth panel is open bordered, stretching to the bottom of the page, and mostly empty. Claire and Noel stand in the bottom right. Claire's hands still hover near Noel, though lowered slightly. She looks worried, subdued, and a little sad. Noel faces away, his hand lowered to the ribbon around his neck, although his face is shadowed and bears no expression. Noel's speech bubbles are shaky and the dialogue floats in the empty space above them, reading: Noel: sorry. Noel: sorry. Claire: You don't have anything to apologize for... Noel: I'm sorry.
