Dutch #antifascist resistance, disguised as cops, set fire to #Amsterdam's Public Records Office, which #Nazis used to find Jews, on #ThisDayInHistory in 1943. Firefighters took their time, letting records burn. Most of the group, led by #WillemArondeus, was captured & executed.
