Pork and prunes with green beans and fried potatoes, a bit of a bistro classic in some parts of France. We drank a bottle of Chinon from the Wine Society with this.

Recommendations for a white Burgundy for Christmas, keep it under £16 if you can. I like em honeyed and buttery, rather than racy and I'm with the Wine Society as well as my local merchants Cheers Wines.

Something I don't cook very often, roast leg of lamb with roast new potatoes, green beans, glazed carrots and lamb jus (because it's too thin to be gravy). Château Courac 2019 Côtes du Rhône from the Wine Society to drink.
