So fun little #wisfb fact: This year's 8 and 11-man state title games had the average margin of victory of 12.125 pts. That is tied for 11th smallest in state history with.....2024.

It's been a fun 12-year run of making trips to Madison & state football (minus the pandemic). As the 2025 high school football season wraps up, it's tough for me not to be reflective.

I've been lucky to cover high school football for iHeartMilwaukee since 2013. Our debut game was Oak Creek at Franklin, but the second game was Waukesha West at Arrowhead. #WIAA #wisfb

Matt Stevens went 10-for-16 passing for 133 yards and carried it 25 yards for 128 yards. One touchdown passing, one rushing. And it wasn't enough.
