Sylvia thinks, "Yes, this was just what we all needed. A nice beach day will cheer everyone up after Cartenau, and then we can - " The second panel shows why she left off in her thoughts. The foreground shows Estinien taking off his shift, revealing a very defined physique. Sylvia blushes in the mid-ground. In the background, Krile and Tataru pass by in conversation, both in swim suits. In Panel 3, Sylvia is blushing and freaking out, thinking, "Ah! Oh no! What if G'raha saw that reaction?? I have to let him know it means nothing! I don't want him wondering if there was ever anything between - " In the fourth panel, we see that G'raha is blushing and staring at Estinien as well. Sylvia's thoughts continue, "... Estinien and... me." There are arrows pointing to both Sylvia and G'raha with the text "same taste in men". The final panel reads, "Crisis averted," with Sylvia crying in relief. In the background, Alphinaud builds an elaborate sand castle, while Alisae is sitting next to a mound of sand with a flag shoved into the top, crossing her arms in annoyance.

A comic shows the Warrior of Light, Sylvia, practicing shooting arrows at a training dummy on the First. The Crystal Exarch watches from afar, smiling at a memory. In a flashback, a younger G'raha Tia shoots at the barrier around the Crystal Tower. His pose matches that of Sylvia's on the First. A younger Sylvia watches him with stars in her eyes, thinking, "Incredible!"
The comic continues. In the flashback, Sylvia says, "I, uh, left something in Gridania, I'll be back!" as she flees from G'raha Tia and Cid. G'raha and Cid share a look of confusion. Some time later, Sylvia returns in the level 50 bard outfit, acting nervous and saying, "Okay I'm back let's go." G'raha asks, "Wait, when did you take up the bow?" Sylvia blushes and says, "T-There will be time for talk later! There are more important matters at hand!" Back in the present, the Crystal Exarch chuckles and thinks, "She never did say..." He approaches the Warrior of Light and asks, "Will you indulge a curiosity before you leave, Sylvia?"
The comic continues. Sylvia puts down her bow and picks up a rag, asking, "Yes?" G'raha asks, "What made you first take up the bow?" Sylvia wipes sweat from her face and says, "Oh, well... There was this archer I knew once. A fellow Mystel. He was... important to me." Sylvia has a far-off, wistful look on her face as she speaks. The Exarch is surprised at her words. The comic shows their surroundings, zooming in on the training dummy, the Crystal Tower, and Sylvia's bow and arrows. Sylvia continues speaking, "I wanted to be like him, with his infectious optimism, and his determination to change the world in a way only he could. He called himself no great hero, but he inspired me nonetheless." The comic zooms in on her eyes and then mouth as she says, "Sometimes... I wish..."
The comic continues. Sylvia's eyes widen as she snaps out of her wistful daze and remembers where she is. She says, "Ah!" Sylvia looks determined and gathers her bow and arrow as she says, "But there will be time for sentiment later. There are more important matters at hand! Let's speak again once I've returned with the twins." She gives the Exarch a sly smile and says, "Maybe then we can share all our secrets." Sylvia passes the Exarch. Once she leaves, he puts a fist over his heart, which is beating hard. He thinks, "What is it your heart yearns for...?" There is a close up on G'raha's face. He is blushing, and his heart is still beating hard. He thinks, "Is it the same as what mine..." The Exarch takes a moment, then lets his hand fall back to his side. He thinks, "Alas. There is no time for that." The Exarch walks away with the Crystal Tower looming behind him. He thinks, "There are more important matters at end."
On the First, the Crystal Exarch tries to tease the Warrior of Light about an obvious crush she once held. He didn't realize just how much of an impact a certain miqo'te had on her.
