While being inspired by my uncle’s upbringing and how he was treated by the older crowd, “Bad Omen” is relatable to anyone who feels like they’re taking up space in their own homes. It’s also based on rather manipulative phases like “You always mess things up.”, “This new generation is...”, “You’re so lazy.”, “What’s wrong with you?” etc. and how it made people feel like a burden rather than a normal functioning person.

It represents the dark. Nighttime to be exact. This is the outcome of how it became the idea of danger to women and girls because of how it was taught to us that we should not being outside at night and how most predators get away with everything. Instead of perpetrators being punished, women and girls being blamed for the crime instead.
