It's the Azeroth Archives event from "Dragonflight", only stretched into an entire expansion. An entire expansion of grinding.
Warbands may have solved the reputation problem for many alts, but instead of several small grinds you're now faced with one massive one. #WorldOfWarCraftTheWarWithin

I'm not exactly on board with #WorldOfWarCraftTheWarWithin. The entire expansion feels...best I can describe my situation is "overwhelmingly empty".
Yes, there's lots of stuff to collect, but the sheer number of things to get requires a huge time investment. Professions also declined into grinding.
