A tall, narrow watercolor painting of a blue sky with scattered white and purple clouds. At the bottom, loosely painted red and green farm buildings, trees, and shrubs form a soft horizon line. The overall impression is light, airy, and vertical. I kept this one simple — just the feeling of breath, space, and sky. The vertical format gave me an excuse to let the clouds drift and stretch upward. Cobalt Blue is such a peaceful color to work with, and I love how the gentle purples play with it here.
