Cut a slice from an old nylon stocking.
Put the nylon tube around your yarn cake.
Stretch the nylon tube to cover the yarn cake sides.
Tidy yarn cake!
I’m kind of excited about my solution to slippery #acrylic #yarn cakes coming apart. I cut a 2-3” slice off old #nylon stockings then stretched the slice around the #yarncake. I stretched it to cover the sides and go slightly over the ends. I center pull so I think this will keep everything tidy.
I’m trying to remain calm but I HAVE caked a skein and I’m swatching. Right now. This may be leading to a Rosemary Cardigan. Only the yarn knows.
