Sorry I’ve been kinda quiet. It was a busy time. lol. So over the last two years I started working on art for the Chinese zodiacs. I started in 2023 with the year of rabbit. Though, looking back I’m not too happy with it so I’m reworking them! #chinesenewyear #yearofrabbit #anime

This one I was really proud of. worked REALLY hard to get the moon in the background just right. the idea here is the bunny ears are on her spirit, added through a spell she cast, partly cause I wanted to keep her witch hat as part of the design.

Dota 2 is a game I didn't exactly play a lot of but loved the design of Dawnbreaker and while I do think this one was a bit of a stretch as far as dota skins go, I didn't feel this one was too different from her base design to say it couldn't be.

Warframe has been one of my favorite games to relax with since I started playing. Slow start but ends up getting better with each update In hindsight, drawing one of the in game characters would have been a fun idea but ended up going with my favorite female warframe (at the time). But I do like how this turned out and I could see it as an Easter skin (Call me Digital Extremes, I got ideas :^) ).

This is an alternate version that I started with that doesn't have a tint added to it and shows the colors I used better. One thing I really wanted to do for this design was to add essentially a rabbits dewlap to her, which is how I got the puffy bit around her neck. This was also at a time when "hair/fur" in warframe wasn't exactly a thing outside of pets so I had to figure out how to make those work using a design that could pass as the material warframes look like they're made of in game.

Second set of art I did for spring. at this point I started to figure out I could make them a bit more thematically appropriate, drawing Ranni at the very start of spring (right near winter), while the others have sun related aspects for spring.

Decided to post the recap here instead of at the end as I've got alt versions of different characters later on. The very loose rules I set up were:
- had to be from a game I played
- design had to be believable as part of the game (If not in universe then at LEAST as a skin in game in the case of mobas)

a very early drawing for me. Artio is one of my favorite gods in Smite and a lot of her skins do fun stuff with her turning into a bear. at the time I didn't have the skill and speed to draw an entire rabbit form on top of this. Drawing her took over a month. I'm quite happy that I'm now at a point that I could possibly do this in a bit over a day now.

Tali from Mass Effect was honestly really fun to work on trying to come up with a futuristic version of a bunny outfit on top of using the hard light tech from the game as part of the design. I imagine you could buy this as an app for your Omnitool if it were in universe.

Flayn from Fire Emblem 3 houses was a neat one. She's very cutesy and would honestly be a bit off for her to wear a normal bunny outfit, so she ended up being more or less just her base outfit with some bunny ears. These days I'd try to mix things up a bit more but still keep it somewhat similar to what she wears in game.

My first series of bunny girls made last year, plus the recap since later on I end up having multiple versions of certain characters. Whole process was great and genuinely was fun being able to see my progress over the year at the very end.
