The blur was the first thing Chie noticed. Nothing looked right, like vaseline across glass, smeared to the point of making her sick. There wasn't a single other thing that made her feel like that: this had to be the TV world. A place she shouldn't be.
With a whirlwind in her head, it took a minute to sit up — made harder by the shackles that made themselves present, attached to her wrists, disappearing off into the darkness surrounding her. After adjusting enough to have some slack she reached into her jacket and pulled out her glasses. Despite Inaba being safe, none of the IT went anywhere without them, though their reasons varied: for Chie, it helped her feel like everyone else was still nearby.
