Common Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita) in the morning light sitting on a branch between some small seed pods. It has a slight yellowish and greenish light colour.
Dunnock (Prunella modularis) sitting on a branch and surrounded by multiple seed pods and strings. It had a grey head, reddish brown wings and back and a light grey and orange belly with dark brown or black spots.
Reed bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) sitting on a thin branch with its beak open in song. It has a black head, a white-grey neck band and orange-brown wings and back, its belly is mostly white or light grey with some darkers spots of black and brown.
European Stonechat (Saxicola rubicola) on a branch of a tree with some green buds growing out of it. It has a black head and beak, a white band under its cheeks and an orange chest.
A few more passerine birds from my visit to #Bloeidaal and #DeSchammer yesterday. Many, oh so many #Chiffchaffs were out and about, but I've also spotted a #Dunnock, a #ReedBunting and the #Stonechat was a lifer for me
