This comic from Zibotron's Book of Comics depicts a normal couple, Norma and Norman, living a normal life in a normal home. It's gross but also sincere. While loosely based on real-life events, the names have been changed to protect the innocent. In this story Norman needs help to feel normal, so Norma steps in to help. Feeling normal means being free of discomfort and in good health. The characters, Norman and Norma, as I recently learned, are drawn rubber-hose-like.

This is an interesting spread in several different ways. I finished this on November 5, 2024. The positions are labeled to help reveal the deepest, most profound message. The cards were drawn by the Ai chatbot, yes the chatbot, provided the most unbiased selection of 8 cards. No Images, just the name of the card and the position number. Selected purely through artificial intelligence. The card images are were then hand-drawn and digitally painted by me. I just went with the creative flow. Eight of Cups, Position zero. Notice that the start of the spread begins with Zero? Then, position 1 Justice. The Karmic Premise position. Position 2, Forbidden Fruit. And so on and on. Looking at these cards tells a pretty crazy story about Election Day 2024. I won't go into lengthy interpretations. If you look at it long enough, it becomes self-explanatory.

I have fond regard for George Herriman's cartoon style. I just finished this page in time to honor him for Black History Month with my full-color five-panel version of Krazy Kat and Ignatz and others. Ignatz throwing a brick at Krazy Kat's noggin shown in two panels gave me pause to imagine the violence of that act. The imagery is haunting me. Was life lived in a different context 100 years ago? 110 years maybe? That would mean his work is in the public domain.
