Marin, the hibiscus-adorned ginger heart of Koholint Island, stands atop the Windfish’s Egg, singing her Ballad of the Windfish. She wears a light blue dress with gold accents and a red diamond necklace. Her hands are clasped in front of her chest. She stands on tiptoe in bare feet on the Egg (balance and dexterity, of course). A ring of clouds hints that she is indeed very, very high up, seemingly born with no fear of heights. The egg itself is gigantic and covered in pink-purple round colorations. The wise owl, Kaepoea Gaebora, flies nearby, always vigilant. The ocean is visible in the background, endless featureless clear blue water.

Marin sings her song to the sky, drawn towards waking the flying behemoth, not realizing — or perhaps suspecting — the liminal nature of her home…
