Another raptor lifer from AZ: the Zone-tailed Hawk. I had a sense these dark birds with their Vulture-like appearance would be sneaky and they were! Just a few passed by the hawkwatch and we got a nice look at one early over the cottonwood corridors of the Santa Cruz River. 😎🦅🌅 #zonetailedhawk
