Given how this season has gone, it almost feels a bit reckless letting both Mo and Robbo go. You get the sense the more recent signings, even Slot himself, don't really GET Liverpool Football Club yet, and now you're losing to stalwarts who can instill that in the squad.
Calling Festus a "Republican stronghold" fails to transmit the strength of the GOP's grip in that part of MO. It's a mix of rural folks with folks from St. Louis whose racism is surreally extreme.
I'm an older white guy. I would feel uncomfortable & a bit unsafe in the Festus Walmart.
