so in canada the removal of traffic cameras wasn't a lefty thing, the Doug Ford government removed them because they were too effective at getting drivers to slow down (and getting tickets as a result of not)
I don't know why Canada or Ontario isn't saying anything about this; it is essentially Quetico Provincial Park south of the border. What happens here affects us too.
Happy Majority Monday.
Canadians will make their choice VOTE and give the Liberals a majority today. No more CPC games. No more obstruction.
Here’s to our future, built Canada strong.
Get up, stand up, stand up for Canada.
"This is not the time for half-measures, for staying quiet, or for keeping your powder dry. Use that powder. You can be sure the people on the other side — and especially the ones enabling and amplifying their arguments online — are going to be using theirs."
“The US is no longer an ally of Canada - it’s a strategic adversary because the highest office in United States is working to undermine and break up Canada. Let that sink in.” 🇨🇦
Truth. As Carney said ‘we are over the shock of the betrayal’.

"Incredibly some argue that the correct response to the current crisis is to double-down on the cause of the turmoil – fossil fuels. This defies economic logic and basic common sense."

This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the NDP and for our country. I was proud to introduce the House to the new leader of Canada’s NDP, Avi Lewis. Under his leadership, New Democrats are united and ready to fight for the progressive change that Canadians deserve.
"As someone who has been studying algorithmic policing technologies for nearly a decade, and [previously] a lawyer in Canada's justice system, I have to say that this is likely the most high risk algorithmic surveillance program that I have observed to date in Canada,"
I was in Maine this past summer to see the Atlantic Puffins for the first time. Awesome experience. We took a boat out to an island claimed by both Canada & the U.S. The Puffins didn't care who claimed it as they were the biggest inhabitants.

“Pierre Poilievre was Housing Minister in Stephen Harper’s Conservative government, which allowed 800,000 affordable rental units to be sold off to corporate landlords and developers. Under Harper, the average home price in Canada went up 70%, and Poilievre refused to do anything about it.”
I live in the Flathead Valley of Montana... Kalispell area... Glacier National Park... ski resorts... Flathead Lake... etc... I fully support a boycott on tourism to the United States from Canada and elsewhere. Yes, it will hurt us locally... and has. But consequences are important.
