great problem i'm having: i scheduled my IRS payment for Monday through TurboTax when i filed my federal return but it still hasn't gone through. should i have faith that they'll catch up on the deposit or pay them directly today and risk paying double lol

Yall if I could scream into the void. The IRS decided today to extend the deadline for my state due to storms. TODAY after we’ve done all the work to extend everybody already. *bashes head into desk * ffs.
And defunded the IRS to the point where even the billionaires who do owe taxes can get away with not paying them. For us simple folks, we'll still be required to pay or be punished.
And we're sacrificing our healthcare and education to pay for this.
