Anything for the perfect shot — am I right? I can’t show you the quilt just yet (magazine rules!), but trust me, it’s worth the wait. It came out beautifully, and I’ll be able to share it in July.

Until then, I’ll be soaking up the sunshine and reliving this perfect weekend at the coast.

Setting up a new sewing machine. It is white and the bobbin case is open. There is a blue towel in the foreground.

Two magazines laying flat on a colorful patterned ground. The magazine is Uppercase, the 6th pattern design directory. The first magazine shows front cover and is bright promos and red abstract flowers with black printed words “keep making things” by artist Sarah Matthews. The back cover is our colorful quilt “Cubicle” made of 2” squares of reprinted shirt fabrics.

So excited to be in on back cover and inside @uppercasemagazine! We were given a 4 page spread 🥳
We can hardly believe it! Beautiful cover art and interior editorial by @iamsarahmatthews.bsky.social so check out her amazing patterns, too! Available at uppercasemagazine.com/spdg6 #thereprintery

Charlotte wears a printmaking apron and is poised to print a linoleum plate w rose color ink. It is a 1-inch grid pattern. Michelle in a grey tunic dress uses a rotary cutter to cut printed fabric they made. They are talking while working in the studio together. A finished quilt of many colors hangs to the right of them.

Hi! Welcome to The Reprintery. We are new here to Bsky and plan to share our collab with you: We print on reclaimed garments, unfinished quilts and the occasional bed sheet and then cut them up and sew them back together! #textileart #reclaimedtextiles #textileprint #thereprintery
