Leo is setting down a thurible on the table, smoke still spilling out of it. Panel cuts to Leo and Earl standing on opposite ends of the hall. Leo snaps his head around to Earl to reply when his eyes widened at what he sees.

Earl is now towering over him with Leo backing up. He looks intimidating, his face shown and we see a skull with red eyes looking down at the priest. Earl's hands gently hold Leo's cross and settles on his fingertips.

Earl is leaning in closer to Leo to whisper in his ear, his red eye barely glowing. It cuts to Leo against the wall looking up at the lich with fear and confusion. Earl has taken off Leo's cross and has it falling in his hand. He has cornered Leo.
