I've said this for a long time and I will say it again, Chris Claremont and the rest of the creative team for Uncanny X-Men do an incredible job in developing alien everything. Worlds, ships, creatures.
This is a great example from issue 162.

Pretty crazy how important the blockade of a trade route is right now
This panel is nuts.
Yes, that is a Nazi demon. It's an incredible interpretation of trauma and grief. In this case, a young woman stunned into a cationic state after surviving the holocaust.
This is what Charles Xavier sees while trying to free her mind.

It's finally happening.
The epic saga that is the Brood. I've been looking forward to this arc for some time now.
If you're not listening to Uncanny Book Club, now is your chance. And if you haven't read Uncanny X-Men, well this is a great place to start.

Reading through Uncanny X-Men and DeathBird has debuted.
How do we all feel about this design?

Glad Seth is back. Guess he will have a new Vision with these masked dudes?
Overall that #EliminationChamber main event was mid.
Like me, you may have wondered what Belasco looked like with a mustache.
Honestly, more bad ass.

Guess Southwestern Ontario are in the Revelations Lands.
Decided to give Age of Revelation a read. Digging this Beast design. I hope we get some explanation because this is metal.
Beast seems to get redesigned often. What's your favourite?

A picture of a mean-looking Hulk, with the slogan, "Don't honk! You'll disturb the Incredible Hulk." A 1966 Marvel bumper sticker.
I've never felt the need to own a bumper sticker... until now!

Today I learned there is an overarching story in the Oreos crossover...
While 80s comics go hard with some visuals, something about modern #Thor scratches a similar itch.
This Immortal Thor panel is awesome. Foreboding. Intimidating.
Scope and size are powerful storytelling tools.

I can't empathize enough how metal the art is in this Magik mini.
Genuinely enjoyed seeing Illyana's origin play out but somethings just felt off. Will have more to say on Uncanny Bookclub podcast.

Symbie is a precious abomination that must be protected at all costs, so says my five year old.

We've been saved. @stevesensible.bsky.social shared It was Assistant Editor's Month.. that's Assistant Editor, Eliot R. Brown.
Thank you! Was just starting to search images of all the names on the intro page.
I gotta ask, how is it that Colossus can stay in his metal form if he's dead.
He can mentally change into this form so I'd assume he would change back to fleshy.
Feels bad for Illyana.

Jumping into Magik issue #2 and this cover goes hard.
Demons all over, and amongst them is some nerd with glasses.
Who the hell is this guy? Hit me up if anyone has the backstory. Would love to mention on the podcast recording tomorrow.

Genuinely didn't expect Kitty to be a literal cat person. I know Limbo is a weird place but this is unexpected.
It's odd considering Storm has demon features. Throwing stars are cool, though.
Huh... This #Magik mini is something.

Kitty outfit aside, the art in this Magik limited series is awesome.
Belasco has that bougie demon vibe. Probably sips on devil wine all day.

Getting ready for recording this week. Deep diving into Magik's limited series for a special edition of Uncanny Book Club.
Kitty's outfit is a choice to say the least.
