You’re right in thinking it’s not an Alpine Accentor. Merlin isn’t always right. It’s a sparrow species.

finding my first smooth-billed ani in Florida or spending hours sweating it out in a Vietnamese jungle hide, it has ALL been magic and not one moment taken for granted.

Last year, we filmed with work live from the tundra in North Manitoba. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about the polar bears I saw up there. Their power. Their struggles. Their helplessness. What a privilege.

Sounds great. My dad, bro and I had a private tour for the week with a guy called Arshley and he was incredible.

This beautiful Amur stonechat stuck around for a good week or so just outside of Felixstowe. A beautiful first winter male, a UK lifer, and a species I last saw in Hokkaido, Japan.

Well hello Blue Sky! Isn’t this nice. Long may it continue. Here’s one of my wildlife shots to kick things off. Taken deep in Uganda’s Mabamba swamp in September this year.
