Would be awesome, for sure! If I were more ambitious, I'd be thinking about motion and lights.

Thank you so much!
I may or may not have dropped the blue one 3 or 4 times, but luckily there's no video proof that ever happened. Most importantly, it feels great to see this classic Disneyland attraction so close to completion.
Next came the part I've been most nervous about.
Could I actually keep my shaky hands steady enough to super glue these tiny Dumbo vehicles correctly?
Well, it took some deep breaths and a lot of patience, but one by one these elephants finally took flight.
So I decided to at least set each vehicle at a different height for enhanced realism. I only needed a bit of gold paint, because I printed the arms using gray PLA to match the actual color.
For my next step, I needed to attach the ride vehicles. First, I modeled and 3D printed 16 identical arms, then super glued them to the central hub. I would have loved to allow the arms to articulate, but I'm not quite that ambitious.
I'm almost done with the miniature Dumbo attraction.

As I'm nearing completion of the miniature Dumbo attraction at Disneyland, I find myself inspired by the words of Walt Disney. #disneyland #miniature #crafting #3dprinting
Thanks for the link!
Thanks so much! It's definitely the next best thing to an actual visit. And I often listen to Disneyland music while I work to keep the vibes right.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I had a lot of failed prints, but just kept at it. The process helped me learn a lot about all the little nuanced settings in the slicer. I'll admit, though, I wish I had more space so that I could print everything a bit larger. 😁
Happy Valentine's Day! 💖 🏰

Happy New Year! 🥳 🎉 Goodbye 2025. Looking forward to what I'll accomplish in 2026!
Thanks a bunch! Resin would be awesome. Maybe one day.
Each miniature Dumbo ride vehicle is about 1.2 centimeters long from trunk to tail. #disneyland #miniature #crafting #dumbo
I spent the evening dialing in my 3D printer for the Dumbo ride vehicles. They're gonna be so tiny! (Just over 1.2cm from tail to trunk.)
Dude, that takes me way back!

Looks like we have our answer from the Disney Parks Blog. They're adding Rapunzel's tower. disneyparksblog.com/dlr/rapunzel...
Miniature (Z-scale) Storybook Land Canal Boats at Disneyland, 3D printed and hand painted.

Video Transcript (4/4): This is pure speculation, but I think it would be an excellent addition. Let me know in the comments if you agree or if you have other thoughts about what they might be doing while these attractions are under refurbishment.
Video Transcript (3/4): And when I consider which recent movies include an iconic structure or building, I immediately think of the magic house from Encanto, Casa Madrigal. So that's my guess, that Encanto is going to get some representation on these rides. I have no inside information.
Video Transcript (2/4): if anything, they're going to change. So here's my unsolicited speculation, based on basically nothing. The signs outside Storybook Land say that they're working on some "small" updates. I take that to mean they're going to add a new miniature to the attraction.
