Each life follows like this
1. Meet Hikari and travel with her
2. Hikari is then killed/murdered
3.Sticky will make the same deal w/ Giratina of reincarnation
4. Sticky dies (over exertion, suicide, or by being murdered)
5.Repeat

ALSO sad part Hikari dies along w/ him in most past lives. She gets younger and younger each reincarnation - she's only 10 when the cycle is broken.

Sticky is afraid Volo will come back and finish the job and start the cycle of dying again.

Eventually he frees Eris/Giratina and is able to get obtain the memories of his past lives (including their feelings, death, etc). So he has to act like all is fine knowing in some lives he is responsible for death, is killed by his friends, etc.

At the climax he is killed again by Cyrus in the distortion world. He has a vision of a version of him (arceus using his form) asking if this is how he would want it to end. He says no, and Arceus revives him to finish what he started thousands of years ago.

Eventually This last form of his is still cocky and rude and makes the same mistakes his predecessors do - until he feels like he's seen this all before. He's constantly trying to do better than his past selves but doesnt understand what or why this is.

Each reincarnation of him is met with unfortunate fates like being killed randomly or by those he trusts (Jiraiya is known for a few times; Jiraiya believed killing Sticky was the only way to sever the connection between him and the devil 'controlling him')

after the events of PKM legends Hikari is murdered by Volo w/ Sticky witnessing it and being too late to stop it (final reincarnation HATES cynthia but doesnt know why)

he makes a deal with the devil (eris) to reincarnate w/ Hikari at the price he has to free her from the distortion world.

first form was an Alpha pokemon who was cocky and rude and ate humans. he was humbled by his trainer (hikari) and they began traveling and growing together as a team
