💻 This week we finished our run of STEM mini-activities across schools in Maidstone with a visit to The Lenham School.

🎮 We enjoyed introducing year 7 students to the world of videogame development as part of their STEM enrichment day!

🏢 Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting Maplesden Noakes School in Maidstone as part of their STEM Careers Focus Day.

👁️🎮 The children very much enjoyed exploring all of the creative tech we had on show, particularly the arcade games and the animatronic eye!

🏫 It was a pleasure visiting Valley Park School in Maidstone yesterday as part of National Careers Week. During the session we talked about STEM careers and students built their own platform games in our Speedy Game Jam!

💻🎨 Earlier this week we had the pleasure of delivering a variety of #STEM workshops to children at Sallygate School.

🕑 Throughout the day, the children:
--- 🎨 Created moving Kandinsky-style images
--- 🤖 Built robotic animals
--- 💡 Programmed LED light sequences to respond to movement

🏔️ Wow! What an exciting 4 months! We’ve just returned from Davos, Switzerland, where we delivered the 10th iteration of #DavosCodes to the 4th student cohort. This is a Salesforce-funded initiative showcased at The #WEF in Davos, teaching local students coding and tech skills for social good.

🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wow! What a year we have had at U Can Too! As we enter 2026 we'd love to share some of our 2025 journey!

🤖 We've worked directly with over 900 young people from ages 4 to 16, bringing #STEM, #edTech and physical computing to their classrooms with over 400 interactive creations!

🎄 Celebrating #ChristmasJumperDay a little early in the office today!

🎁 Merry Christmas and a STEM-tastic New Year! From the U Can Too Team!

We were so saddened yesterday, to read of the loss of the wonderful, Dr. Jane Goodall; a huge loss to humanity.

We had the privilege of meeting Jane, back in 2024, when she captivated a room-full of teenagers by introducing herself in Chimpanzee! Her passion and energy were truly inspirational.

In our most recent visit, the young people made a great start, engaging in the following activities:
✅ Intro to the Global Goals
✅ Coding micro:bits to build simple air quality monitors
✅ Using wildlife cameras
✅ Building prototype robots
✅ Creating environmental-themed arcade games

🎉🌍 Celebrating TEN years of the #Salesforce #DavosCodes programme!

🏔️ Last month, once again, U Can Too visited Switzerland to kick off the tenth year of technology and coding projects with young people in Davos, which will lead to a showcase at #WEF26 in January.
