Last night I finished a large project in the remodeling of our Altar Room. I cleaned up and then shut off the lights, and as I was closing the door the light from the stairs landing caught our collection of Magus LaVey’s work, making for a nice “shelfie.”

Here’s the wall color I’ve chosen for the Altar Room, which has been under remodeling for a few months. Partially a nod to TSR by ASL but magenta also has significant magic/psychological properties that are fitting for this space.

Scored this beautiful Blickman medical cabinet for a mere $475. Given the average price of new ones l'd say that's a steal. (Drawers and shelves were included, just removed during photo.) Now to get this solid steel behemoth up the stairs to my studio where it can serve as a new supply cabinet.

#wip but recently we scored a 4th bookcase that matched the 3 we have which were purchased around 20 years ago & have been long OOP. Ever since, l've looked for a 4th so that we could arrange bookcases in this room in a "mirror image," which we can finally do. Here's 2 sides of the same room.

Not quite finished at the bottom, and needs some paint touch-ups at the baseboards and a good vacuum, but we've finally abolished the hideous decades-old beige carpet on the stairs and have replaced it with a lovely plum color. Our house has two sets of stairs and both are getting this treatment.
