I just learned #IslaNublar, the island in #JurassicPark, is in the Pacific Ocean. This is funny because at the end of the movie, the helicopter is flying toward the setting sun. The sun sets in the West. So... Where is that helicopter going, cuz it's definitely not toward Costa Rica (i.e., Land)!

Magnifico being The Mule was cool because the warlord chasing them all the way to Terminus because he wanted his clown back made it easy for us to keep our attention off him. The girl being The Mule and putting herself in danger makes no sense!

Everything about the misdirect Mule, from having to talk to him to Harry thinking how the back story is sus makes no sense of Magnifico isn't The Mule. There's literally no reason or subtext driving why she did or wants to do anything all the way to the end of the season.

The Mule in the show is just some hot girl. Yeah it sucks her parents tried to kill her, except they never actually set that up properly and after that, she's just a hot streamer. She has no need or motivation to bring the universe under her thumb.

I'm talking cryptids, mystery, found family, all the representation, and a mishmash of references to Florida living that according to my beta readers land somewhere between "if I didn't live in Florida I'd still get it but because I live here I love it!"

Did #FrankHerbert read The Big Sleep and just see Marlowe and think, "yep! That's my Moneo" and that's just how he came up with #GodEmperor of #Dune?

And then just the fact the author went out of his way to say the things about "worms are both sexes, they can like whoever they want to."

This is just big #Moneo having long drawn out discussions with the god emperor energy...

Reading #TheBigSleep and my weird reader brain just made the craziest connection.

In the book, #Marlowe makes digs at everyone, in all the ways they operate, but especially about how everyone is just a little dumber than they should be (especially silver wig).
