Always a good rule of thumb.
Dungeons should feel dangerous—places that inspire a healthy dose of fear when players send their characters inside. Survival should never be guaranteed. In the immortal words of The Eagles: “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.”

At a mere 112 pages, will it be worth $30?

Numerous hidden ranger outposts exist throughout the Vesve, operating independently or loosely coordinated with Highfolk and Veluna. Their positions are intentionally obscured to counteract humanoid incursions and are not publicly charted.

Quick Review: If you like dragons and adventure anthologies, Dragon Delves delivers. Easy to run, flexible, and varied enough for most tables. Not quite Tales from the Yawning Portal tier, but a solid B. Loses points for no new monsters and a weak “History of Dragons.” #DnD
Digging through the new Dragon Delves adventure anthology, and I couldn't help but notice a bit of a parallel to some classic #DnD pixel art from the old Gold Box #Dragonlance adventure, Champions of Krynn. I approve!
Say something NICE about an edition of #DnD that you HATE.
4th Edition: Monsters changing tactics or triggering different abilities based off of a character being bloodied (1/2 HP) is a great idea.
Hey, no argument here. Though, the 90s need a close second place position on that list. Heck of an era to be alive in.
Just used a Ring of the Ram to punt a hobgoblin into low-Oerth orbit; mid-monologue.
10/10 magic item. Would yeet again.

It's funny you mention that year. It's the only one I had in my head that could compete.
1985 was a legendary year for cinema. This is just a sampling. I double-dog dare you to name another year with as many instant classic films. Go ahead... I’ll wait.
Ever have a moment like this at your #DnD table? A magic item that became central to the storyline, but was wielded by a single character? How did it turn out?
Now that it's been released, did anyone pick up a copy of Dragon Delves on preorder from @Roll20 and get Dragons of Divinity with it? I'd love to hear what you all thought of it.

Hook me up, folks. What are the best, light-weight travel mechanics you've seen or used in in any #TTRPG system? Bonus points if it's #DnD though.
#Greyhawk fans, how many of you are familiar with the region of #Highfolk? What are your thoughts on it, or what adventures have you played or run there?
Your responses matter. #DnD
Monks in #DnD feel close to greatness, but something’s missing. Is it the focus on Eastern martial arts over general hand-to-hand combat? Are their abilities too thinly spread? Is the ki mechanic underwhelming? What would it take to make monks true slobberknockers?
Don’t stress, fellow DMs. Focus on fun and go with the flow. Start strong, end strong—everything in between is just the journey. You’ll zig, you’ll zag, but you’ve got this. Smile, roll with it, and when all else fails, fake it till you make it. #DnD #TTRPG #DMTips
The underappreciated hero of Tier 1 obstacles!
What piece of non-magical equipment (no weapons or armor) is an absolute must-have in your adventuring kit?

AD&D DMG tip #47:
Always track time. Especially in the dungeon. Especially when they think you forgot.

Thank you! My pleasure!
LOL, I genuinely laughed out loud at that.
Hahahaha! I see it! That's hilarious. Well played.
Yeah, that gets yeeted into Ye Olde Trash Bin, folks. I don't need a cobbler threatening to swallow my soul.
To the players who bring snacks, lift others up, and flood every session with fun and laughs: HERE'S TO YOU.
DMs—take a moment to tag the players who make your table better just by showing up. We know they make every session worth all the effort. 🧡🍻

#Highfolk lies on the upper reaches of the Velverdyva River, one of the Flanaess' most important trade arteries. Barges from Perrenland and beyond carry rare goods, and river piracy, smuggling, or escort work are common adventure hooks.
