I am no expert on mushroom identification, but believe this to be a yellow oyster mushroom cluster. The cluster is tiered. The tops of the mushrooms are a golden yellow. The gills run down the cone shaped stems. They are growing on a decaying fallen tree. They are fresh and untouched. Simply beautiful!

Growing out of a thick bed of bright green moss, multiple pink and red mushrooms of different heights pop up. The two mushrooms in the center are the focus. The one on the left is shorter than the other, the top of its cap just reaching the bottom of the other's. Their stipes are a dull, dark pink and are just slightly rough in texture. The red, round caps are smooth and shiny. The Elephant's Trunk Nebula (specifically designated IC 1396A) is a dense pillar of interstellar gas and dust. It is located within the much larger IC 1396 emission nebula complex in the constellation Cepheus, roughly 2,400 light-years away. The trunk itself is about 20 light-years long. The surrounding region spans over 100 light-years in diameter.
The Elephant Trunk Nebula. A bit noisy but not bad for 45 minutes worth before daylight arrived this morning. All that interstellar gas and dust! Captured by the Dwarf3 scope.
