I’ve loved Depresh Mode since it was The Hilarious World of Depression. It truly has had a positive impact on my life, especially the phrase “depression lies.” Thank you for all your hard work! 🫂

I'm reading his memoirs right now, "Vagabond," and it's so good!
Welcome to episode 742. We have two tales for you this week. First, a young boy wakes to find his parents in his room. Then, a man who notices everything fails to see what matters most.

I know there are bigger problems in the world right now, but I just finished my medium-sized Wendy's frosty and all I want is more frosty. I wish I had ordered, like, a large and a junior instead.
😔
-The episode ends with a massive choreographed dance number.
Does anyone know where in north NJ this will be playing? I've already checked the usual suspects, but nada.
I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE ELSE I SHALL PERISH.
I've started a separate profile where I share crochet patterns found on Internet Archive. If you're looking for crochet inspiration, I hope you'll check it out. 🩵
I believe this is called “enshittification” and I full on believe in it.
ROKU! Stop changing my Home Screen wallpaper 👏🏻WITHOUT 👏🏻MY 👏🏻CONSENT👏🏻. I have it set to “Magic Hour: Spring” and I expect a magic water fucking fall and magic rain fucking bow when I turn on my tv.

Post a picture of yourself as a doctor.
My 14YO's school makes everyone run their papers through an AI-detector. But my kid and his project partner wrote an entire paper themselves and it was still flagged as 70% AI. I get that schools want to catch cheaters, but the current system is complete bullshit.
For S3 of "The Pitt," I demand:

Go watch "The Secrets of Bees" on Hulu or Disney+ right now. I promise you will not regret it. Unless you have a bee phobia. Then don't watch it.
(TW: Skip the part in Australia. Trust me, it's deeply upsetting and not related to the "main" hive story.)
if anybody has any leads on jobs hiring in the twin cities, consider hooking me up??? preferably something related to editing/publishing/writing but tbh these are desperate times so I'll consider whatever. gotta get out of texas within the next couple months and things are not looking great. thanks!
Exciting news! We are increasing our pay for original fiction from $0.03/word to $0.05/word starting immediately.
Peddling my wares in honour of Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️⚧️ I’m the first trans man to ever win a Bram Stoker Award in Long Fiction for work mentioned here (Coup de Grâce). I’d love if you’d give it a read.
Happy end of Women in Horror Month! Remember to keep reading books by women all year, you know, or else. Beneath this is an image of a woman with a book open. I don't know which movie this is. She says "Everything we want will require unfathomable violence."
Happy Trans Day of Visibility from TtT!
We have many talented trans authors here at the podcast, and we lowkey have crushes on some (most) (all) of them.
An image of the transgender flag, consisting of pale blue, pink, white, pink and blue horizontal lines. The words "Trans art share" have been written across the middle of the image

Illustration of the Jersey Devil, which is over 6 feet tall and has the face of a horse, the head of a dog (???), ram horns, bat wings, the body of a kangaroo, and a long spiked tail. Because of course New Jersey has to be extra with their monsters. Illustration taken from the Rutgers University Library website.
As a PSA, we'd like to remind you all that tomorrow is April 1, aka "April Fool's Day," so if you see a cryptid, please do not assume it's a prank. Just run.
Well, take a photo and then run. Then send us the photo.
Stay safe, horror fam.
Peek-a-boo, I see you trans people!

To whoever did this at the #NoKings in Boston: Thank you.❤️
It made me tear up. And we must to be reminded of needless damage to humanity that results directly from the careless, bellicose bluster coming from the Pentagon and White House.
Welcome to episode 739 and the final week of Women in Horror Month. We have one tale for you, about an artist in search of his missing muse.
