This evening, the Moon and Jupiter.
I didn't notice this earlier because the sky was too bright to see Jupiter.

Here in Ireland I discovered that sheep reduce the incidence of humans getting ticks from the environment. They keep grass short so the ticks trick of hanging around at the top of grass stems to transfer to humans brushing past doesn't work. I also suspect they hoover up most of the ticks just

Superbly atmospheric photo. If you waited till the street was clear, well done.

Fox-one.

I was in the kitchen and saw this fellow wander by with complete insouciance. Mid day, no less. I could hardly believe he was still there when I got back with the camera, which fortuitously had a long lens attached.

The unconscious man's insurance would have paid up, his own would not have been involved.

The unconcious man's insurance would have paid gladly. He spared them a potentially massive claim had things escallated, such as a multi-car pile up with deaths and injuries.

He most likely would claim against the insurance company of the person who rear ended him, because he was technically at fault.
I'm certain they would have paid up, not only because their client was at fault, but also because rejecting the claim would have been public relations suicide.

Belgium said it would transfer F-16s in 2023, it hasn't transfered any. They made excuses about not getting F-35s they had ordered, but that was because they chose to delay paying for them.
Ignore what Belgium says about F-16s.
Ukraine was stupid to reject Australias offer of 45 F-18s.
