I am honestly looking forward to it. Teaching online was necessary due to covid demands and honestly student demand but I can't wait to get this group back in person and do more F2F stuff.

Since COVID, I've been teaching the tech comm service course online, but returning to in-person this fall (for reasons). I need ideas for a super-engaging day 1 activity to get students social. Anyone have any great ideas?
This year in a nutshell
On Friday, I got promoted to full Professor. Today, got a paper rejected, and the first thing reviewer 2 said about the paper was that "In academic writing, the use of short forms of words such as "we've" are not allowed." π
