I keep going back to this exchange, and I think itโ€™s relevant, here. It is inconceivable to people with power that anyone would be willing to fight and die for something when thereโ€™s no guarantee of winning.

Slowing down was a big part of my 2025 New Yearโ€™s resolutions and needlepoint continues to be one of my favorite ways to feel more grounded because it is just so tactile. Itโ€™s also a joy to bring projects wherever I go and connect with other folks who craft like @talvaldivia.bsky.social ๐Ÿ’•

Needlepoint canvas depicting windows out to blue skies with books stacked with Blair Hall in the background

๐Ÿ“šA very dreamy canvas to finish while at Princeton! I had a lot of fun playing with decorative stitches on this one.

The 3 weeks flew by (entirely too much fun!) so Iโ€™m glad I made time to explore campus with my picnic blanket to find some calm spots to sit, stitch, and reflect on this opportunity.
