Just finished these two endgrain cutting boards. The styles are very different. Which is your favourite?

Airport knitting. Needles and a bit of yarn are often conversation starters. 🧶
These won’t last to Canada Day, so let’s enjoy them now. Lots to be thankful for…#canada #maple #tulip
These socks are made of leftovers from at least five other projects. Little balls. Helical knitting with a spiral rib. #showmeyourknits #knitting #menwhoknit
We’re glad to have you come and visit us!!🇨🇦
O Canada, you done good. The world can sleep soundly tonight. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I finally finished the Day and Night socks that were the first round of #sockmadness They are the second most complicated socks I’ve attempted. #guyswhoknit #showmeyourknitting #knitting
Canada is ranked 1 in education, 3 in safety, 4 in justice, 4 in overall best country.
We are not a broken country. We have not suffered a lost decade.
Our existence is in the balance.

They can represent anything you like….they are thoughtfully random
I’m a woodworking knitter. These sock blockers are off to the local yarn store tomorrow. #knitting #woodworking #guyswhoknit #showmeyourknitting
While everyone else, still knitting in #sockmadness, has moved on to the next sock, I’ve finally finished one of the Day and Night socks from the last round. Knitting at a much more sedate pace, I’m on to the next one.
#sockmadness is going to be done for me. This week’s schedule, and last week’s just aren’t giving me enough hours, and I’ve made too many errors, pulled out stitches, tried again. There is still an error that the judges may judge to be fatal. So, I’ll finish these socks less intensely and maybe 2026.
Well done!!

36 hours into the first competition sock in #sockmadness. It’s going to be a slog. #showmeyourknits #knitting #guyswhoknit
Thanks!! Yes, two different yarns used in alternating rows. Helical knitting.
I’m called boardmaker
My #sockmadness progress for today…
Team Christmas Tree Worm….C what about you?
I’ve qualified for #sockmadness ! To join the competition, the qualifying socks need to be made, and approved, in less than two weeks. I started these 11 days ago. They’re called Conjoined Sock Twins and were designed by Katherine Richmond.
What’s stopping you?
At the end of day 10 of this qualifying sock for #sockmadness Just the toe to go and then the two socks are separated. This picture is required by the competition to prove that the two socks were knitted as one.
Day 7 of this knit has me almost through the cables. I’ve got a week to finish the socks to qualify for #sockmadness Certainly doable now. The two socks are knit together and cut apart as the last step. One is toe up and the other top down… #showmeyourknits #knitting #guyswhoknit #sockknitting
I found the pattern maybe just a little bit too wordy.
Delivered and installed this art piece yesterday. It’s the focal point of a consultation room in a psychotherapy clinic. #art #woodworking #woodart #officedecor #oneofakind
Sometimes life gets in the way of knitting. Day 6 of the qualifying knit for #sockmadness was like that. Still on track to finish before next Sunday though. #showmeyourknits #knitting #sockknitting #guyswhoknit
Actually feel way behind. My partner finished yesterday and has qualified…..
I’ve just recently started toe up socks. I find them easier to cast on neatly, but, I like the heel turn of a top down sock better.
Day 5 on this #sockmadness qualifier. The first sock is finished and the second one started. The pattern is called Conjoined Sock Twins. The second sock is knit top down, attached to the first one. You can see the line between the two. #knitting #showmeyourmknits #guyswhoknit #socks
