In all seriousness, those books were a ton of fun. And I reread them just recently, and I stand by my much younger self’s evaluation of them. And at least a little bit of these books’ DNA shows in your SW fiction, which is probably why I enjoy your work as much as Mr. Daley’s.

Back in my day, Sonny, those three books were the entirety of the Star Wars EU. And we loved them for it! 🤨

I still say that Iron Man‘s Silver Centurion armor was his best look.

It’s fantastic! In fact, whole Age of Unreason series is a great read. It l’s an early example of clockpunk fiction, and Keyes spins an exciting adventure tale. I learned a lot about writing long form fiction from reading this book.

I discovered the Ace paperbacks when I was in second grade, so while my classmates were reading “Harold and the Purple Crayon” and Doctor Seuss books, I was reading Conan. 😂
