Why A24’s ‘The Drama’ Sparked Criticism from Anti-Gun Violence Organization Over ‘Misaligned’ Marketing The marketing for A24's 'The Drama' has been called 'deeply misaligned' for how it presents the film's twist.

Have you seen The Drama? What did you think?

Grateful to @marchforourlives.bsky.social for plugging @bradyunited.org's Show Gun Safety initiative here.

Brady has met with every leading Hollywood studio about how to responsibly depict guns + gun violence. What we see on screen can save lives.

Bowen's brother, Donovan, who survived the school shooting in Parkland, recently died by firearm suicide.
No family should have to endure multiple incidents of gun violence & the trauma that follows.

We're thinking of the Vice Mayor's loved ones and all those grieving such an inspirational leader.

Kids shouldn't have to fear for their lives when going to school. But three years ago today, three 9-year-olds and three educators had their lives cut short because of easy access to guns and a society that has too often given notoriety to shooters. We can and must do better.

The shooting at Red Lake: The victims Ten years ago, on March 21, 2005, 16-year-old Jeff Wiese shot his grandfather, his grandfather's partner and seven of his classmates at Red Lake High School before shooting himself.

We remember the victims killed & injured in the shootings at Red Lake High School and Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota 21 years ago today.

No one should have to fear gun violence at school or while going about their daily lives.

Gunman dead, 2 ROTC members critically injured in Old Dominion University shooting An active threat was reported at Old Dominion University's Constant Hall, according to an alert sent to ODU students and faculty.

2 people were shot and injured at Old Dominion University today when a gunman opened fire in one of the campus buildings.

Surviving gun violence shouldn't be part of the college experience. We all need to ask ourselves: What am I doing to prevent this?

'Scream 7' shows us a different way to survive the night | Opinion When the first 'Scream' came out in 1996, car crashes were the leading killer of kids in U.S. Today, guns are – and Hollywood can help change that.

When the first Scream came out in 1996, car crashes were the #1 killer of kids in America.

Today, guns are — in part because they're often not stored safely.

That's why the portrayal of a gun safe in Scream 7 is so important.

If you don’t want to see lives devastated by shooting after shooting, it’s time to get involved.

This is completely preventable. We must work together and make it impossible for our leaders not to act.

This week, Virginia took an important step toward preventing gun violence!

Bills to strengthen secure storage, keep campuses gun-free, stop ghost guns, and ban sales of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines all passed out of committee — because young people and advocates refused to give up.

Brady Responds to ICE Officer’s Fatal Shooting of Minneapolis Resident Brady is uniting Americans against gun violence. We invite everyone who wants to end our epidemic of gun violence to take action, not sides.

37-year-old Alex Pretti was a U.S. citizen, legal gun owner, and ICU nurse at the VA.

Institutionalized armed intimidation makes everyone less safe. And when cities are occupied by a federal agency used as a paramilitary force without consent of local leaders, escalating violence is more likely.

5 injured in shooting after fight on Metrobus in Northwest DC - WTOP News Five people were injured in a shooting in the Brightwood neighborhood of D.C. on Thursday afternoon, police say.

5 young people were shot after a fight broke out on a bus in D.C. on Thursday. Easy access to firearms too often turns a simple argument into a deadly situation.

But we're making progress. DC had a 29% decline in violent crime in 2025 over 2024 & 2024 had the lowest violent crime in 30+ years.

Link between evictions, Chicago gun violence found in new study Researchers at the University of Chicago found that for every 1 percent increase in eviction rate in a given census tract, there were 2.66 additional shootings there.

A new study in Chicago shows that higher eviction rates are linked to more gun violence. When people lose their homes, neighborhoods become less stable and less safe. Preventing gun violence is also about addressing housing security and displacement and investing in communities.

A shooter terrorized my university. This is the cost of inaction. | Opinion Young people like me are tired of being pawns in a political game when our lives are quite literally at stake.

Team ENOUGH Exec. Council member Will Thomas sheltered in place as a shooter terrorized Brown University's campus. He is now more motivated than ever to demand change and is calling on everyone to play a role to ensure gun violence is no longer the leading cause of death for young people.
