Mr. Peanut was a good friend and neighbor, and had a special relationship with young @diasphoria.bsky.social who had befriended him by feeding him peanuts, years ago when we lived in Fresno, California. #BirdOfTheDay #CollectingFood

If you have been curious about how the 10 principles of Disability Justice developed by Sins Invalid over 2 decades ago would address all the pressing issues we face, I invite you to attend my free/donations-welcome DJ 101 workshop on Zoom at 7-9pm EST on Saturday, January 31, 2026!🫂

I only care about one love story on this bitch of an earth and it's the love story between Colman Domingo, in Valentino, and his husband Raúl Domingo.

Pacific Northwest's ‘forest gardens’ were deliberately planted by Indigenous people Finding suggests humans have added value to forests in lasting ways

For Poison Ivy fans who remember that bit from year 1 about interplanting--that's real; I wasn't making it up! Excellent write-up about indigenous permaculture: www.science.org/content/arti...

Rest as the Heart of Resistance: a workshop on moving through burnout using disability justice frameworks! Together, we'll examine burnout as an inevitable state of being for people living under late stage capitalism. Then, we'll look at how disability justice can help us approach life more sustainably.

What the workshop looks like: Every workshop is different based on the attendees and orgs, but I start by creating a space for folks to really talk about their experiences with burnout and care. We’re there for each other in the messy and complex and vulnerable parts of it all. You’ll come away with disability justice tools for caring for yourselves and each other, and the opportunity to create art about it.

How Disabled Organizers Are Helping Palestinians in Gaza Stay Connected Amid the struggle to survive Israel’s ongoing military attacks – which have left over 25,000 dead and more than 7,000 missing in Gaza – and the deprivations of a genocidal siege, Palestinians in...

For my latest, I talked with Jane Shi, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, and Alice Wong about their project Crips for eSims for Gaza, which has sent 1,410 eSims to help Palestinians access the internet, and why Palestine is a disability justice issue.

TFW you wake up in the wee hours to find your entire timeline celebrating the death of one of humanity’s top ghouls, and you jump up in joy, and you lie back down reassured that you’re following all the right people.

@ADL: Henry Kissinger was a towering intellect, diplomat and practitioner who - not without controversy - helped shape American foreign policy with a lasting impact worldwide. A refugee from Nazi Germany, and the first Jewish Secretary of State, he was unapologetic about his heritage and his embrace of the importance of American global power and democratic values.
