A dog. This stems from a childhood fear of dogs. I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m scared of them now, but I have a healthy respect for them.

Anything with teeth and claws of a size or in numbers too large to overpower.

My name is David. I love folklore, and most of the few horror stories I’ve written would fall into the folk horror subgenre. Animals play a big part in a lot of my stories: dogs, deer, wolves, coyotes, owls, and even cockroaches.
