I had a GameCube, and then a XBox, so I missed out on the PS2 originally. PS2 has a good mix of games from those systems, but there's also some great exclusives I'm enjoying. The PS2 Slim is also a lot more convenient than having a great lumbering XBox set up in my little gaming corner
Recently bought myself a PS2 Slim after hankering for some early 2000s racing games. It's easy to forget how many great games were part of this era: The later Tony Hawk games, Castlevania LOI, Gran Turismo, Burnout(!), SSX 3 and On Tour. There's so much good stuff to be played.
Get a lode of this guy...
I have one of these and it is good
I’m aiming for pinball but we will see. It involves maths and probably a fair bit of esoteric Amiga optimisation so I don’t know how far I will get. So far i have a playfield and a ball and some movement so that’s more than i managed when I was 10 at least. Next up is loading in some collision data!
Bit Weird @gazchap.com, but this has happened again. I was doing some Blitz Basic coding in the evening and during my research found myself on the delightfully retro (frames and all) www.blitz-2000.co.uk and I find your name on the Contact Us page!
How I felt about video games 35 years ago and still do to this day.
Today's recommended website is chiptube.app. If you love chiptune music/SFX then head over for a huge slice of nostalgia. A massive catalogue of SID, NES, SNES, N64, GENESIS music awaits, plus lots more. Volume up to 11.

Boxed?? I think we might have a gold digger on our hands…
Marc Silk! Loved his work on Black and White, and then more recently the Two Point games. I've met him and can confirm that he is a decent chap! I also found his interpretation of Santa Claus on the self-checkout systems at Poundland particularly moving.

"welcome back guys, now here's the same explanation again for another 3 minutes"

I'm thinking full boxed because my house is full of crap I don't have space for and therefore it only makes sense to add some more. Might pick up Chip's Challenge as well while I'm at it, played that a tonne on the PC back in the mid-90s
Nebulus/Castelian will always be a special game for me. It's _rock hard_ but a great game that I have some fond memories of from when I was a kid. I have Castelian on the GameBoy and my little boy loves to play it now, 35+ years later after I played it on my cousin's Atari ST. Might have to get this
The cult-classic "Nebulus", from the #C64 era is back, this time for the #GBA!

Many years ago I found a demo on Amiga, I have searched for it for... 30 years since. Maybe you #Amiga fans can help?
Its one of the voyagers going past possibly Jupiter with Haldanes quote being read about the Universe being stranger than we can imagine. Maybe Sagan reads it. #Demoscene
I originally played this as Nebulus on the Atari ST in the early 90s. Eventually i got Castelian on the gameboy.
No matter what platform you play it on, the rotating tower always looks impressive for its time.
It’s rock hard too, I don’t think I ever got past the second tower!
Hi new followers! I'm Nathan, I'm making a new action-platformer called ChainStaff. You get to shoot, but you also get swing and spear baddies!

@cyningstan.bsky.social Hello! If I wanted to have a play with CGALIB, would I need to compile with OpenWatcom v2, or a 1.x version?
