Andalite Heritages:
Aristh Andalite
You were born into a military family, and have ascended to the rank of cadet prior to embarking on your adventures. While you are on the lowest rung of military hierarchy, you are no less deadly than your peers. You gain training in the Warfare Lore skill, and gain the Tail Blade ancestry feat.
Feats requiring Aristh Andalite: Prince-In-Training, Prince, War Prince.
Estreen Andalite
You were born with an aptitude for shapeshifting, raising it to an artform. Thus, your body resists external attempts to transform it to another's whims. When you roll a success on a Saving Throw against a spell or effect with the Polymorph Trait, you get a critical success instead.
Feats requiring Estreen Andalite: Illnit Purge, Morph Dancing
Nothlit Andalite
You were not born an Andalite, but rather another ancestry before your transformation into one after remaining in that form for too long after contact with an Escafil Device. A permanent change, this experience has nonetheless broadened your horizons. You gain an additional language of your choice that reflects your original ancestry, and you gain the Lore skill related to that ancestry.
Feats requiring Nothlit Andalite: Hooves in Two Worlds, ...
Hooves in Two Worlds (Lvl.5)
Prerequisite: Nothlit Andalite Heritage.
Andalites have mixed feelings when it comes to Nothlit, though they are predominantly viewed with some level of sympathy, especially if they were not Andalites by birth. When interacting with other Andalites, you gain a +2 circumstance bonus to Gather Information or Make An Impression if your nature as a Nothlit has been made clear through either by your own admission or through your general lack of understanding with regard to Andalite culture.
Illint Purge (Lvl. 5)
Prerequisite: Estreen Andalite Heritage.
As they lack a traditional mouth, the closest word the Andalite language has to "vomiting" is hereth illint, roughly translatef to "burping DNA." This occurs in morph capable individuals upon countering DNA to which they are adverse or "allergic," and describes a process through which they purge the offending code from their systems. As an Estreen, your innate skill with morphing as an art allows you to willfully initiate this process to purge harmful matter.
When making saving throws to resist the Enfeebled, Paralyzed, Petrified, or Sickened condition from poisons, spells, or similar effects that do not possess the Mental trait, you can spend 2 Actions to gain a +2 bonus to the roll.
Hald-wurra (Lvl. 17)
Prerequisite: Shormitor.
An Old Andalite word meaning "Victory in Three-Swipes," this tail-fighting technique is practiced primarily by masters of the art. When you take the Attack action with your Tail Blade, you can choose spend all 3 actions that round to gain a +3 circumstance bonus to the attack. If you successfully hit, you add three additional d6s to the damage roll of that attack.
Four-Eyed Sentry (Lvl. 17)
Prerequisite: Four-Eyed Foresight.
You have trained to process visual information at a rate unheard of in most Andalites. You permanently gain All-Around Vision, meaning you cannot be flanked. Additionally, you can Seek in two directions at once.
Here's a sneak peek at what I'm cooking up for my Andalite #homebrew for #Starfinder2e.
I'll admit, I'm a little nervous - as I've never homebrewed for system that wasn't D&D 5e - but I'm excited to give it a shot.
