This sounds sooo familiar

So, maybe, "The next time we hear a crazy/bitch narrative about a senior woman, let's ask ourselves: How much first-hand evidence do we personally have to back it up -- does it resonate with our own direct observations and interactions with her?"

Of course, the field has been focused on pruning for too long, disregarding other roles. It's not good for discovery!

🗣️ℹ️How do we prevent misinformation? By talking about it, without reservations and full openness.

🧫🐁It is the same with science communication and #AnimalResearch specifically.

💉💡Even if you somehow oppose it… know why it is still needed.

Thanks for reaching out! The distinction between hunters or gatherers (culling or scavening) is mechanistic and needs to be experimentally determined. Pruning and gardening are poetic terms but not accurate enough in my opinion. They do not help understanding how microglia actually remove synapses

I would love to hear your views on this article. I discuss some hurdles I faced when thinking about experiments and projects design. This is something no one formally teaches you.

Opinion | Noam Chomsky: The False Promise of ChatGPT (Published 2023) The most prominent strain of A.I. encodes a flawed conception of language and knowledge.

"The human mind is not, like ChatGPT a lumbering statistical engine for pattern matching, gorging on terabytes of data and extrapolating the most likely conversational response, most probable answer to a scientific question"
