It was a pleasant surprise to discover this in my feed! A board game about building a walkable city; two of my favourite things! I backed the project and am looking forward to it coming to life! Check it out! @drawnonward.bsky.social @nerd4cities.bsky.social www.kickstarter.com/projects/fow...

“At the @urbantruth.bsky.social we want to change the narrative - call out the lies and the liars not just clarify and fact check! Better cities have been held back by lies, and we’ve had enough of that - NO MORE!”

@brenttoderian.bsky.social
is not messing around. TRUTH is everything! 👀🇨🇦👏

Let me offer an alternative perspective: this particular book is worth at least twice what I paid for it. And I paid full price.

We also learned about First Nations’ relationship with the French and then the British over centuries, how Wampums were an important part of that relationship, and how the British created their own Wampums but did not follow through on their commitments contained therein @ward1wilson.bsky.social 2/2

Brian Charles gave an amazing talk on ‘Treaty History Woven through Wampums’ at The Westdale. With dozens of Wampums on display, he told stories about them, providing excellent insight into the Wampum creation process, how to read them, & their cultural significance @ward1wilson.bsky.social 1/2

Mid-autumn is my favourite time to be outside. It's also that time of year when I start getting asked, "Are you still riding to work?". The answer is 'yes', always 'yes'. 😁. Any day I don't commute by bike feels incomplete. Even when it's cold. I'm not made of sugar & I wear appropriate clothing 😉

Council recently approved HSR NEXT which significantly improves transit for Ancaster. That was one of the presentations tonight. I’ve also written about it in my newsletter. Finally, you can read more by searching ‘HSR Next’ at Hamilton.ca

A bucket list item I thought was impossible: attend a RUSH concert with my sons/nephew. The boys were too young for the R40 tour in 2015. But, we just landed tickets for the 2026 tour that will pay tribute to drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart, who tragically succumbed to cancer in 2020. 🥁🎸🎹🎤

Charlie tore a strip off of U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra—who had the audacity to call us "mean and nasty"—and the felon in the Oval Office, proving they are both clowns in this must-see takedown..

Thanks for the tip. I got my HSR paper model bus, too! Here’s an action shot with a full-sized bus in the frame!

Great segment, thanks Brent. Your message needs to be repeated over and over and over and over….until it finally sinks into those very thick skulls that keep objecting.

@craigcassar.bsky.social hear's the concerns about immediate, tangible results and suggests doing "next smallest thing" to help fix the problem, doing it now and repeating.

On June 1, 2025, I rode in the 15th annual 'Bike for Mike' in Hamilton, Ontario. It's a powerful celebration to remember Mike, and I very much look forward to this event. This year, I captured video during my ride on the "50km Classic Route".

Another new @guygavrielkay.bsky.social book! I’ve been loving his books since back in high school in the 90s.

Actually, Tom, I requested to Becca that we take that pic together! 😎 Fans of yours everywhere!

@jdavey.bsky.social I’m working on a documentary of the experience. Will likely take several weeks to produce. Lots of video to review!

#HamOnt There have been troubling claims circulating about the safety of Hamilton’s drinking water. I understand how concerning this is — clean, safe water is not just a service, it’s essential to our daily lives.

The fact is: Hamilton’s water is safe.

Bike Share usage in Helsinki is next-level. It’s also a winter nation like Canada. One of two bike share hubs outside Olympic Stadium for Helsinki City Marathon! #running #cycling

The Helsinki Running Day 5k was an amazing experience! I wasn’t nearly as fast I had planned/hoped. Exploring this fantastic city non-stop over the past 3 days probably cost me some time! 🤣 But well worth it!

Friday afternoon in downtown Helsinki. A park similar to, but larger than, Gore Park in Hamilton. Espa Stage is organised by the Helsinki’s cultural services. Locals & tourists of all ages were here enjoying the music, restaurants, & outdoor market just steps from the stage. The vibe was electric.

Ontario added 134 km of lanes to Highway 401. Its key bottleneck didn’t get better | Globalnews.ca Travel times on Highway 401's bottleneck in Toronto were around 25 minutes in 2016. They worsened to as much as 32 minutes last year and could hit an hour by 2051.

Some #HamOnt cllrs understnd this and how foolish it is to spend $134M widening RHVP/Linc, rather than nearly doubling HSR bus fleet.

The text reads: #HamOnt I’m heartbroken to learn of the tragic shooting that claimed the life of an innocent 21-year-old woman last night. This senseless act of violence is devastating for our entire community.

On behalf of my council colleagues and the residents of Hamilton, I extend my deepest condolences to her family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

I want to thank the Hamilton Police Service for their swift action and continued dedication to keeping our city safe. Public safety remains our top priority, and we will continue to work closely with law-enforcement and community partners to prevent violence and protect all Hamiltonians.

Lane 2 Runners had a blast with @dontgetlostar at RAID THE RIB! “When you run with the bulls, you the THORNS!” Our shins are a little bit ripped up from all the raspberry cane! But you can always find some interesting things while orienteering! @tentoenshoeshop
