“I’m not here to talk about my feelings” is the most Hillary Clinton statement of all time. 😂

Who the fuck did they think they were talking to?

All people who love freedom—no matter what country they are in—need to come together and help each other resist fascism.

Currently in Killaloe, Co. Clare, once the 11th century 'capital' of Ireland under Brian Boru, it commanded the shallow crossing over the lower Shannon. Home to 12th century St Flannan's cathedral, with 13th century font and 10th century ogham stone to a viking christian convert.

Irish kings Máel Sechnaill and Brian Boru defeated Sigtryggr, king of Dublin, at the Battle of Glen Máma #OTD in 999. Sigtryggr’s brother Haraldr fell in the clash. Their father Óláfr Kvaran (†980) had at various times ruled Dublin, the Hebrides and York. 📸NMIreland #medievalsky

"A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

A book cover that reads "Conceiving Heroic Christianity in Early Medieval England" with the author's name, "David G. Pedersen" above the title on a brown background featuring a black-eyed susan. To the left is a title card that reads "Coming soon."

Text on a brown floral background that reads: "Unlike much of early medieval Europe, the early English converted to Christianity through missional efforts, not martial conquest. Thus early English converts had freedom to construct their Christian identity, producing a religious subjectivity that differed from the Latinate perspective of the missionaries who converted them. This book investigates lay texts to undermine monolithic conceptions of medieval Christianity by revealing a uniquely English religious subjectivity evident in Old English wisdom literature."

Coming this summer from MIP's Christianities Before Modernity series, "Conceiving Heroic Christianity in Early Medieval England" by David G. Pedersen!

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. -Theodore Roosevelt

At the very least the UK is showing the USA how our democracy and police can, eventually, bring down powerful politicians and members of the elite who were involved with Epstein.

I sped through all of @matthewharffy.bsky.social’s books in this series, and they are absolutely top notch. Highly recommend.

Meanwhile in America, nothing is happening to anyone found in the Epstein Files. WTF is wrong with people there?

So, when Trump and his fascists are finally defeated, it isn't going to be time to forgive and forget. It's going to be time to hold them accountable. No matter how small. Every. Single. One. And it's going to be time to never forget what they have done.

We did not properly punish the confederates. We did not properly punish the insurrectionists on January 6th. We have to punish ICE.

They can’t be allowed to slink back into their communities quietly. Expose them. Arrest them. Convict them. Imprison them.

That’s why I wish people would realize that Noem, Stephen Miller, and Bovino are the convenient scapegoats for the President. HE is responsible for all of this! He is the one who hired them, and he is the one who likes their policies. Impeach him immediately!

It’s true! Per the Geneva Convention, that consulate isn’t under the jurisdiction of the United States. It’s Ecuadorian property. If ICE breaks into a foreign mission, it is a violation of the Geneva Convention, and the Ecuadorian government might do the same to our consulate in Ecuador.

Pretty sure that would be a violation of the Geneva convention.
