Though Hus was definitely aware of Wycliffe and read him, I'm not sure if the influence really carried over, as I think he would have had these issues regardless. Didn't realize Germanization was that late though, will edit on that.

Also should remember "Turkey" is historically a new thing. Asia Minor used to be all Greece (Byzantine/Roman Empire). Part of Georgia (Adjara) was actually in the Roman Empire, and loads of Greek saints spent a lot of time in Georgia (second Christian country, Armenia the first, before Rome).
