17 years ago, Russia launched its war against Georgia, with aggression starting days earlier. Shelling of Georgian 🇬🇪 villages and illegal troop deployments preceded August 7, 2008. The world must not forget how appeasing Russia in Georgia led to war in Ukraine. #WeRemember2008
Tbilisi is scorching hot and the only way to beat the heat is to get wet. Here's my latest guide to Tbilisi swimming spots (pools and water parks). Stay tuned next week for locations au naturale.

This was more to my point. Wycliff's teachings weren't necessarily in a void, but he did bring them to a more popular light, and you are right, even realized in Bohemia.
Yes, excellent point too. I updated the text for both the German and the Wycliffe. Thanks for chiming in and pointing it out!
Though Hus was definitely aware of Wycliffe and read him, I'm not sure if the influence really carried over, as I think he would have had these issues regardless. Didn't realize Germanization was that late though, will edit on that.
Hahaha, not a surprise
And thanks, glad you enjoyed the read.
Yeah, some of the least patriotic people I've met, when they do have a lot of things to be proud of in their history.
When church and politics mix, the politics end up poisoning anything good about the church.
Yeah, it was a toss-up on which holiday to go with. They've got quite an amazing story too. And can always expand it with the WWII caper in the New Town Ortho. Church of their name.
In Prague this weekend? If so, you might see a lot of flags and wreaths around. It's not for America Day, but an anniversary that's far older. About a guy named Jan. Jan Who? Exactly. Read it on the latest blog:

This is more true for newer builds as well as renovations targeted at AirBnb. Traditionally Georgian has huge eating room where family tends to gather, and often doubles as living room. But these new buildings lack living space in general.
Crockett: That’s why they hired everybody from Fox because all they’re trying to do is put on a show.. I want us to refocus our attention on the American people and stop demonizing every person that ends up in ICE custody…

Also should remember "Turkey" is historically a new thing. Asia Minor used to be all Greece (Byzantine/Roman Empire). Part of Georgia (Adjara) was actually in the Roman Empire, and loads of Greek saints spent a lot of time in Georgia (second Christian country, Armenia the first, before Rome).
